Cuban Black Beans

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 1/2” ham slices, diced
  • 2 14 oz cans black beans
  • 1/2 tbsp paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

In a small pot, sauté garlic and onions in olive oil until they are soft. Add ham, cooking until lightly browned. Add two cans of black beans with bean juice and and stir. Add paprika, salt ,and pepper. Cook over medium heat for 20 minutes. Serve over rice or sleep by yourself.
